Mortal Kombat!

They know their audience...

My favorite is Katana (the blue one)
some fans may notice that the girls are not completely true to character, as none of them are wearing the character's thongs...
AND with the new movie coming out, Mortal Kombat: LEGACY, we get an interview with the actress playing Sonya

FN FAL

Told you guys it was coming.

The FN FAL (Fusil Automatique Léger - Light Automatic Rifle) originated from Belgium and was manufactured by FN Herstal in 1953. It shoots a 7.62 Caliber round using a magazine at 650 shots per minute. It weighs, on average, 4.45 kg and is 1090 mm in length. The FN FAL was originally designed to fire the 7.92 mm Kurz patrone (short cartridge) developed and used by the Germans during World War II (see StG44 assault rifle). With the adoption of the 7.62 × 51 mm (.308 Winchester) caliber as the NATO standard, FN rebuilt their rifle for the new cartridge and created what is possibly the classic post-war battle rifle. Introduced by its designer Dieudonne Saive in 1951, and produced two years later, it has been described as the "right arm of the free world."

The FAL operates by means of a gas-operated action very similar to that of the American Browning Automatic Rifle. The gas system is driven by a short-stroke, spring-loaded piston housed above the barrel, and the locking mechanism is what is known as a tilting breechblock: to lock, it hinges down into a solid shoulder of metal in the receiver like the bolts of the Russian SKS carbine and French MAS-49 series of semi-automatic rifles. FAL magazine capacity ranges from 5 to 30 rounds, with most magazines holding 20 rounds. Most of the FN FALs are restricted to semi-automatic fire only to help control accuracy issues. Customarily, FN FALs are equipped with the long flash hider, which doubles as a rifle grenade launcher. Unlike some other tactical rifles, reliable high-caps for the FN FAL are relatively inexpensive.

All you need to know and more on the FN FAL's history.

on a lighter note, this is my favorite gun for Hardcore TD on CoD Black Ops. Also, you might have realized that i really like this gun, as it is part of this blog's background.

Jaguar C-X75 prototype

This interestingly shaped piece is the Jaguar C-X75 CONCEPT.

It is publicized as a "range-extended electric supercar".
  • 2,970-pound
  • zero to 62 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds.
  • two 96-horsepower micro gas turbines with one li-ion battery pack.
  • four 195-horsepower electric motors (one at each wheel)  =780 horsepower
  • 1,187 pound-feet of torque.
  • Top speed is pegged at 205 mph
  • batteries for 68 miles before the twin turbines kick in and extend the range to 560 miles

Stylin'

Wicked interior. I love blue lighting..
  • The body resting above all those electrons is aluminum, with swan doors allowing entry to the leather-lined cabin.
  • The seats inside are fixed, with the steering wheel, instruments and pedals moving to accommodate the driver.
  • Three high-res TFT screens present driver information, with readouts and displays switchable between all of the screens.
The body looks much better from a top down view.
My only real problem with the car. The bumper is non-existent.

Jaguar has this to say about the genesis of the C-X75 Concept, "The aim was to produce not only the most innovative but also one of the most beautiful Jaguars ever; one which hints at an exciting evolution of the marque's award-winning design language while paying homage to some of its most admired cars of years gone by."

Unfortunately, the C-X75 Concept is just that, a concept. There are no plans to make it for the market.
With the turbine design and interior's uniqueness, The C-X75 has earned a place on my dream car list.

The Ultralight Carry

Sorry I've been really busy with life recently, and still am. Just dropping in for a second to post what I've found while browsing the internet in search of an alternative to a Beretta or S&W 1911.

Overview-
"The new Ultralight Carry was designed from the beginning to be the ultimate full-size carry pistol. The foundation is a fully machined aluminum frame for reduced weight. When combined with the carry cuts, ball endmill cuts, round butt frame, concealment beavertail grip safety and hammer, the Ultralight Carry is over 1/2 pound lighter than a comparable steel frame pistol. Experts agree the ultimate carry pistol must be as light as possible while maintaining the shoot-ability of a 5" pistol. The Ultralight Carry is handcrafted with all the features imperative in a daily use pistol. To reduce the profile and improve comfort, we have incorporated our new concealment beavertail grip safety, a round butt frame and carry cuts / ball endmill cuts on the slide. The slide stop post has been countersunk to allow the use of laser grips completing the features necessary in a daily concealed carry pistol."

Should have a story for each category of BB&Bugattis up by Thursday night. Look forward to the FN FAL, Jaguar's prototype, and more hot girls
EDIT: sorry some things came up (....again....) and I'll have the new stories up tomorrow/Friday night.

Save the Cheerleader!

Sorry no football girls in skimpy clothes, instead today we have Hayden Panettiere, actor and overall hottie.
Hm.. where is the video of her using that?

Known most of all for her role as the invincible cheerleader on the show "Heroes", Hayden is not new to the "Being really sexy" club. She was voted #5 in For Him Magazine 100 Sexiest 2008.
Voted #6 in FHM 100 Sexiest 2007, ranked #13 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2008 list,
ranked #1 on Wizard magazine's "Sexiest Women of TV" list (March 2008), and ranked #30 on Maxim magazine's Hot 100 of 2010 list.
I'm sure I speak for all of us when i say that 1) she deserved it and 2) She should do more photo shoots, preferably with less clothes than normal.. or no clothes..

This is rumored to be a picture of her as well.

Unfortunately for all of us, to get to her you're going to have to go through her boyfriend, Wladimir Klitschko. Look here to see him next to her.

skateboard car (short weekend post)

Well this is really interesting. I guess it would just be like how everyone buys an Iphone, then it becomes unique to each person as they add apps and customizations to fit their preferences. It would be amazing to not have to worry about buying gas (more money for food...). However, I don't see this (or anything like it) becoming available any time soon. Probably not even mainstream in my lifetime.  No company is going to produce it, as the average person will not be able to afford it and, unfortunately, no large company will do anything that doesn't turn a profit.

Sorry if the video isn't loading. It's not liking me for some reason.
